Two years ago, I began working as a driver for Uber in Toronto. What started as a simple desire to serve customers quickly grew into a vision: to create a new standard of consumer convenience and build a Canadian identity in ridesharing. During those rides, I began developing the concept that ultimately evolved into MOOX, formally incorporated in Ontario, Canada, under the name Moovyme Inc.
What began as “Luxury Rides” has evolved into something much more profound. Ridesharing in Canada deserves its own identity—one built on higher standards of customer service and a commitment to reshaping urban mobility for the better. Getting people from point A to point B is never easy, but I have always believed it should be done with care, respect, and excellence.
Today, just close to five months after our launch, a growing number of people in Toronto and the GTA are beginning to embrace MOOX for their daily travel needs. While we are only scratching the surface of serving this city and province, we are firmly established and ready to expand across Ontario and, ultimately, across Canada.
Building this platform has required countless hours of development and immense dedication from myself and the team behind me. The journey has been challenging, but our goal is clear: to build not just another ridesharing company, but a Canadian brand and a future public company that reflects the values of the communities we serve.
With this ambition comes responsibility—to our drivers, our customers, and our colleagues. Over the past year, I have focused on strengthening our management team, fostering a culture that rewards teamwork, and encouraging our drivers to commit for the long term.
Our vision is not limited to daily services. We aim to provide around-the-clock mobility, optimizing for customer happiness and loyalty rather than short-term transaction growth. We are willing to make near-term financial sacrifices where we see clear long-term benefits, because we believe in building something lasting.
Our continued success will depend on stellar execution and the strength of the platform we have worked so hard to build. Our network already extends beyond Ontario, connecting consumers and partners, and we are committed to operating as true citizens of the cities we serve.
To close, I want to reaffirm my commitment to you: we are building something special. My team and I will work tirelessly, listen carefully, and ensure that we treat our customers, colleagues, and communities with respect. I will continue to lead this company with passion, humility, and integrity—the same values that inspired me to build MOOX from scratch.
